L. J. Engineering, Inc. originally incorporated in 1967 develops and manufactures proprietary products, primarily in the field of custom designed precision pneumatic and vacuum control devices. Numerous U.S. Patents have been granted for our products, which include vacuum and pressure regulators, pneumatic flow control devices, parachute actuators, comprehensive test equipment for evaluating automatic activation devices for parachutes, breathing regulators and thermal mixing valves.
Recently developed products include a high-accuracy, electronically-controlled digital altitude chamber which is used to test automatic activation devices for deploying parachutes and other altitude sensing devices. This electronic test chamber is capable of measuring and controlling, to within one foot resolution, any altitude selected over its entire operating range. During a simulated parachute descent, air admitted into the chamber is continuously and automatically controlled to maintain a constant rate of fall over the entire operating range of the actuator.
